A day Tour to Kampala
and Namugongo
After breakfast in the morning, our Tour guide will meet you
at your Hotel and take you around Kampala
city .The following historical sites will be visited.
Namirembe hills
The oldest and centrally located Diocese in Uganda ,
Namirembe plays an outstanding role in gauging the life and spirit of the whole
church in general as far as Uganda
is concerned. Namirembe is the oldest, among the 29 Diocese of the Anglican
church of the province
of Uganda .
You may also visit the kabaka’s lake which is agreat site
for bird species in Kampala
city. This includes an extra cost for bird watching.
Kasubi Tombs
The kasubi tombs are traditionally known as
Muzibu-Azaala-Mpanga and are where the four Kabakas (kings of Buganda
kingdom) are buried. Kasubi Tombs are adorned with royal regalia like spears,
drums, a stunned leopard, medals, photographs and shields of the kabakas buried
there. The structure is supported by wooden poles wrapped in backcloth and the
floor covered with grass and palm leaves mats. Backcloth traditionally popular
for clothing is a fabric made from the soft back of a fig tree (Ficus
natalensis) and has a strong ritual importance to the people of Uganda.
This is a display of Uganda ’s cultural heritage where one
can see ethnological and natural-historical exhibitions. It is a vivid reminder
of the country’s colorful past.
It’s called ‘MashriquI-Adhkar’, the Persian translation of
the drowning place of the praise of God. It is also a mother temple of Africa . People of different religions and beliefs gather
there to worship their gods.
You may relax in the gardens and enjoy the magnificent sight
accompanied by fresh Air.
This is a Religious site where by 22 catholic and Anglican
boys and men died for their faith in God. Between 1885-1887, the Buganda ’s
Kabaka (king) Mwanga ordered the killing of the Uganda martyrs and were burnt to
death by his soldiers at Namugongo shrine. Most of them were buried at the

take you to your hotel for relaxation, Diner and over night at Fairway Hotel
(luxury) or Boma Guest house (budget)
Day 2 (Transfer to Ngamba Island
Sanctuary)

Island Chimp Sanctuary, crossing the Equator en-route.
On arrival at the island, home to 39 chimpanzees, you will
be given a short introduction and briefing about sanctuary and its journal.
Subsequent to this, is the feeding time! It is compelling to watch the chimps
interrelate with each other as their keepers feed them. In the relatively short
amount of time you are there you will be able to see such different
personalities amongst the group, with some whistling for food and others
clapping while others will be struggling to collect as much as they can to
keep. Obviously the ideal option would be to re-introduce these orphaned
chimpanzees to the wild however this is not possible for a number of different
reasons and the sanctuary is not bad for second best. Dinner and overnight at
Ngamba Island G AND C Camps
Day 3 (Nature/Forest walk)
After break fats, you will interact with these playful
chimps as they may pull your hair, climb on you to carry them or just walk
